The Pants of Truth

Assignment: Create an illustration based on the following quote by Winston Churchill.
“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”
Solution: Before arriving at this concept, I asked myself the following questions:
- Why does it take so long for the truth to get its pants on?
- Why is the truth concerned with getting its pants on?
- What kinds of pants does the truth have?
