Sketching the Project

In addition to the development of style, I defined the complete body of work, along with color, composition, and theme. Sketches for each of the nine narrative images were created. Several rounds of refinement happened during the sketching phase. This gave me confidence in the body of work as a whole, and allowed me to think of each upcoming work over time.

The sketches allowed me to work out the harmony of the whole set, and helped me envision how the project would take shape.
