Karakuş

September 8. After the flight from Nevşehir back through Istanbul, the guided road toward Mount Nemrut. The gravel cone shows first, across the dry ridges. Then Karakuş Tumulus, where an eagle still stands on a column above the burial mound of Queen Isias.
