We built this to help — and/or mildly troll — Utah’s new flag initiative.

We posted it on Twitter. We sent a few DMs. We didn’t buy ads. Somehow the lieutenant governor found it, the press found it, thousands of Utahns found it, and walls of the Capitol filled with blue-square flags.

About half of the finalist energy. A new state flag we still love. And a reminder that design can be play.
